About Goancauses

 

Agnelo Gomes, a Goan residing in the United States with his family: a Goan wife and six Goan-American children, established Goancauses on September 1, 2000.  Goancauses was revealed to the public by the use of eGroups Inc., which is now known as Yahoo! Groups.  It is an online forum where members discuss issues pertaining to Goa.  Such information as news, sports, politics, and even debates and responses to other peoples' messages online.  Their messages are made available through the website on Yahoo! and through e-mail messages.  These members are Goans from Goa, India, United States, United Kingdom, Australia, and other countries all over the world that communicate their thoughts or information pertaining to Goa by the use of the Internet. 

 On July 1, 2001, Goancauses became a website made viewable to the general public.  Goancauses.com will continue its online forums through the use of Yahoo! Groups but will also contain a live chatroom, gallery, news which is provided by timesofindia.com, and useful links for the World Wide Web.  Goancauses.com is now another website made by the Goans, for the Goans.  This website welcomes all comments on how to improve it or make it better.  Any questions, comments, or suggestions can be sent to webmaster@Goancauses.com.
